Song For Gaza

It's been 3 days since the seize fire in Gaza. As i told before, the casualties and the loss are greatly numbered. Many have died for this stupid unreasonable cause. For this reason, this song is dedicated for the palestinian people. This is a song by Michael Heart. He created it for the response to the suffering of the Palestinian people. So i hoped that you guys feel the same way.

WE WILL NOT GO DOWN
(Composed by Michael Heart)

A blinding flash of white light
Lit up the sky over Gaza tonight
People running for cover
Not knowing whether they’re dead or alive

They came with their tanks and their planes
With ravaging fiery flames
And nothing remains
Just a voice rising up in the smoky haze

We will not go down
In the night, without a fight
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools
But our spirit will never die
We will not go down
In Gaza tonight

Women and children alike
Murdered and massacred night after night
While the so-called leaders of countries afar
Debated on who’s wrong or right

But their powerless words were in vain
And the bombs fell down like acid rain
But through the tears and the blood and the pain
You can still hear that voice through the smoky haze

We will not go down
In the night, without a fight
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools
But our spirit will never die
We will not go down
In Gaza tonight

Few Tips On How To Grow Tall

My Experience With Being Short

For nearly two decades of my life i was called shorty. Even back in Primary school i was always classified as one of the shortest but who cares if I'm short or not back then.
It didn't get any better as i reach my puberty. Secondary school were so awkward because there wasn't any girl who was shorter than me. You likely already know that teenage girl nothing is as unattractive as a boy who is way shorter than her. The most embarrassed part is every time my seniors walk pass me, they surely hold my head by using their armpits.
Unfortunately, i ended up turning 20 and being around 162cm. Certainly not extra short but it's not where i wanted to be. For that reason, i start searching for something that would help my body grow more naturally. I knew all about pills to do it, but the side effects scared me to death. I rather stay short for all i care.
I've already tried every imaginable things but nothing seem to worked. I wasn't about to give in and live with being short for my entire life. I knew there had to be some ways to get naturally few inches taller, even at my age.
I changed my diet, i did some specific growth enhancing exercises and i found some great articles telling "how to grow taller by using exercises and eating proper food.
After all the hard work that i put. It actually pays off!! As a result, i gained 3cm in height just in 3 weeks without using any pills. Nothing is impossible. For the first time in my life i was so happy. All my hope and dream are nearly fulfil.

Exercises To Help You Grow Taller
One natural approach to gaining height whoever said that body was a finely tuned machine was spot on. Most of us doesn't fully understand the potential of our own bodies, including growth. If you are aware of how to exercise in a specific way you can actually promote growth.
Exercising in the right way will release human growth hormone. Once that is released a growth phase can start. A few easy exercises that can help you grow include:

  1. Swimming. Swimming is the healthiest sport i know. It improves your growth, stretches your body, and helps you become stronger and tougher. It will prevent backbone deformation, improve posture, fitness and overall health. Even if you are not a teen anymore, swimming will still benefit you.
  2. Basketball. I know that guys who aren't tall aren't always up for the challenge of playing basketball with other. It involves a lot of good stretching though so if you're not keen on joining a team, find one person to play with you.
  3. Cycling. You can do this either inside or outside. Spend at least 15 minutes a day devoted to cycling.
  4. The Cat Stretch. With this exercise you will want to sit down on your knees and hands, similar to the way a cat does it. Arch your back and pull your neck down to your chest. You will then bend your back straight out and point your hand up so your nose is pointing to the ceiling. In each position, hold for about 5 seconds. Breath in as you are in the up position and conversely, breath out when holding the down position. This stretch is known for stimulating back growth as well as opening up your vertebrae.
  5. The Cobra Stretch. How to do cobra stretch lie on the floor face down with palms on the floor under your shoulders. Start arching your spine up leading with your chin. Arch as far back as you can. Do each repetition for about 5-30 seconds.
  6. The hanging stretch. This is a simple exercise. You just hang from a bar. This will help to lengthen and straighten the spine. Hang for at least 30 minutes a week. If you want wider back and shoulders, use a wider grip.
  7. The Super Stretch. While standing reach your arms up as high as you can and lean back a little in the process that way stretching your lower back. Do each repetition for about 4-7 seconds.
  8. The Toe Touch. This is an easy one. Stand with your hands high above your head. Bend over and reach to your toes while keeping legs as straight as possible. Bend your legs a little if you need to. If you can reach toes easily, then stand on podium and try to reach ground. Each repetition should be about 2-3 seconds.
Foods That Stimulate Growth

You are as tall as what you eat. There's absolutely no denying that food plays a monumental role in growth. That's the reason we're always encouraged to drink our milk when we're kids.
You can certainly use diet to help stimulate growth as there are specific foods believed to be high in the nutrients that help you get taller.

A few good examples of foods you should be adding to your diet include:
  • Milk. This is obviously no surprise. Calcium is the most essential mineral when it comes to growth. If you're drinking full or part fat milk, switch over to skim.
  • Eggs. Eggs are a great source of protein so add a few to your menu every week. Some people can tolerate eggs everyday, and that's even better. Just be mindful if you happen to have high cholesterol.
  • Legumes. Not a staple of everyone's diet, but they are very beneficial when it comes to gaining height.
  • Fish and seafood. Delicious, nutritious and beneficial to height. Adding fish to your regular rotation of dinner ideas is really helpful in many ways, including stimulating growth.
  • Fruits. Fruits are generally high in fiber, water and vitamin C. Fruits also contain various phytochemicals that do not yet have an RDA/RDI listing under most nutritional factsheets, and which research indicates are required for proper long-term cellular health and disease prevention. Regular consumption of fruit is associated with reduced risks of cancer, cardiovascular disease, stroke, Alzheimer disease, cataracts, and some of the functional declines associated with aging.
Food can play another important role in getting taller. You can create a natural human growth hormone cocktail using ingredients in your own kitchen. Well, this is it for now. I hope that this tip will help, even for a bit.

Gaza Aftermath

The Death toll

-At least 1,315 people killed, including more than 400 children and more than 100 women.

-At least 5,400 Palestinians injured, including nearly 1,900 children and 800 women.

-At least 100,000 people forced from their homes.

-At least 13 Israelis killed, including three civilians.

Outcry over weapons used in Gaza

Medics working in the Gaza Strip have condemned Israel's use of suspected "new weapons" that inflict horrific injuries they say most surgeons will not have seen before.

Dr Jan Brommundt, a German doctor working for Medecins du Monde in the south Gazan city of Khan Younis, described the injuries he had seen as "absolutely gruesome".

The Israelis were using some form of Dense Inert Metal Explosives (Dime). When detonated, a Dime device expels a blade of charged tungsten dust that burns and destroys everything within a four-metre radius. Brommundt also described widespread but previously unseen abdominal injuries that appear minor at first but degenerate within hours causing multi-organ failure.

Medics and observers have also accused the Israelis of using white phosphorus - banned from use near civilians under international law - in the densely populated Gaza Strip.

We saw streets and alleyways littered with evidence of the use of white phoshorus, including still burning wedges and the remnants of the shells and canisters fired by the Israeli army," Christopher Cobb-Smith, a weapons expert touring Gaza as part of AI's four-person delegation, said.

White phosphorus is a toxic chemical that causes severe burns and sparks fires that are difficult to extinguish.

It is dispersed in artillery shells, bombs and rockets and burns on contact with oxygen and is used to create a smokescreen to hide the movement of troops.

Statistics: Gaza economic losses estimated at 1.9 billion dollars

Dr. Loai Shabana, the head of the Palestinian central bureau of statistics, said Monday that the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip caused an economic damage estimated at more than one billion and nine hundred million dollars.

In a report, Dr. Shabana underlined that the number of buildings and facilities according to the census conducted by the bureau in 2007 were 147,437 and the preliminary estimates indicated that the three-week Israeli aggression led to the complete and partial destruction of 14% of this infrastructure.

The official noted that there are about 5,400 Palestinian injuries in need of rehabilitation and general aid other than thousands of Palestinian citizens who were rendered homeless or lost their breadwinners, adding that the financial compensations needed for rehabilitating the affected Palestinians are estimated at 31.5 million dollars per year.
